ANCOP CSP 2010 in Perspective – A Great Year!Posted by: admin | Posted on: January 12, 2011
As we enter 2011, with grateful hearts, we honor and recognize the participation of our donor and implementing partners in ANCOP Global.
In a span of just a few years, we were able to achieve a total of 2,377 sponsorship for the ANCOP Global Child Sponsorship Program at the end of 2010 in all educational levels (pre elementary, high school, college and vocational) to serve the growing education needs of our marginalized and disadvantaged children all over the Philippines. We couldn’t have done it without your continued and unwavering support. And for this, we are grateful to you.
Other 2010 Achievements …
A. ANCOP Education Center
Construction of the 3-storey ANCOP Education Center in Las Pinas, Metro Manila (the first one to be built).
The Center will serve as tutorial facility for students, whether CSP scholars or not, who need extra training and guidance in their studies. The Center will also serve as library and computer center for the local CSP scholars, including teachers and the local ANCOP community. This is also the venue where future scholars will be processed and CFC ANCOP local leaders will meet.
B. Corporate Sponsorship

C. PARTNERSHIP with Private Insitution
Established partnership between ANCOP CSP and Arellano University. Arellano University will accept CSP sponsored beneficiaries and scholars at preferential school fees thereby providing access to the University’s quality education for indigent students. The partnership takes effect in June 2011, details of the program are currently worked out by Ethel Balenton – CSP Global Head, Alma Cayco-Curato -Arellano Board Member and VP of Finance and Roger Santos CSP Global Marketing.

D. Rebuilding of ANCOP Tekton support Infrastructure
In order to upgrade and keep up with the demands of its fast growing operations, CFC ANCOP Tekton Foundation is rebuilding its support infrastructure which include the following:
• Utilization of one universal financial database by the adoption of Enterprise Quickbooks for its donor and implementing partners
• Implementation of one ANCOP Global Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) database.
With much hope and optimism, we look forward to a better, brighter and more bountiful
New Year and continuing partnership with you!
